It's almost the end of week 2 of my 2nd year in SMU!

On certain levels i've made an improvement whereas on others, i'm still the same....

Say, my social circle has definitely seen a spike ever since I decided not to be such an anti social prat and not reject every outing or whatsoever... Haha. Plus the fact I've been joining the right stuffz and committing to them. Cuz I think i've finally found what i like to do :)

Honeymoon year overrrrrr.... Anw, been busy with like vivace last week, OCSP stuff, and still busy with ocsp stuff cos it's interview period and we're selecting our members! So yep.... Been doing some photoshop for a few various emailers too, my skills rly improving lah... haha.

And as seen from the above picture, Univanzaar!

Our bizcom univantage 3 day bazaar is finally over. Whew, a break! The last day was superbly tiring cuz we had to give out the new discount booklet (it's a PRIVILEGE for you smu students) and we get a lot of mixed reactions.

Some ppl think we're giving out flyers, some think we're trying to sell stuff and they literally run away, some are just plain RUDE and so on.............. Of course there are the nice ones who stop to chat with us and thank us for the booklet but honestly, minority.

Sheesh.

So after packing and cleaning up, (and we took the picture), i da bao-ed my dinner and went to sit in for our OCSP 2nd info session. Mother tiring!

Night festival tomorrow.. Shall hang around to check it out since I have class till 3.15 tomorrow, then interview ppl till 6.. + meeting prolly..

And I need to start doing SCHOOL stuff alrdy! As in, academic things... As usual, same as last year, always the last to buy my stupid textbooks... always have problems finding em... and need to start trying to do my readings! if not i'll be so lost in class again. Haha.

Had loadsa fun at siloso beach with em, playing every possible beach sport like frisbee, volleyball, captainsball, soccer... and picnicking + dunking + pictures!

Didnt join them for dinner at marche, instead i rushed over to 85 to meet glen, sarah & weisiang for dinner :) nice time chatting and eating icecream yipeeee.

went home and found the usualz in my room decorating my wall! ;')

It's uberrrr pretty, love it!

Nua-ed around b4 gg for seng kee supper and finally i said hello to sleep.

Pretty glad now everything's kinda coming together, I've finally got some work to do which I hope can help to get me a little prepared for the crazy school semester coming up ( I predict it will be a helluva ride becuz I've got a few goals to reach! ) so yup......... Had 2 meetings today, OCSP & the GM+Trng for bizcom's M.A.N , then dinner with some of the guys before meeting bern&royce for some chillin in da pod. LOL.

Yeah update hello, I'm 90% decided on going for an OCSP to Chiangmai.

Unbelievable right? ME, the one who has constantly been critisizing OCSPs, vowing never to go for one. I don't know what came over me, maybe it's cuz like practically everyone I know in smu has gone for an OCSP and everyone loved it + seriously, there's just so so so so so many smu OCSPs I reckon I should just give it a try la.......

Also partly because this OCSP is pretty slack and the scenery's nice and stuff, my starring friends are in it and most importantly, going to chiangmai, end of 14days ocsp = take a local flight to bangkok to SHOPPPPPPP!!!! No more delays for my bangkok trip, NO MOREEEE. I've waited so so so long already! Hahaha that is truly the highlight, whoops.

Mm,k thats about all. I'm gonna start being involved in CCAs this sem like floorball and gourmet club cos firstly, the stick which I bought (with my hardearned money) has been rendered obsolete because of my lack of motivation to attend smu floorball trainings. So, in order to not let it go to waste, I must utilise it well for at least a year or so!

Or would you recommend me to sell it? But coach kenneth's the one who sold it to me... with his extra discounts.... so i feel kinda bad about it. :(

And i do love the game, but need to find the right people to play with then you can enjoy, you know?

Oh and also to play competitively at least once or twice cuz then I'll have something to put on my portfolio when I apply for scholarships/bursaries or whatever. Seriously, my GPA so cui already one wld expect the portfolio to compensate right.

Yep, this is my sad life story.

Alright la, the 8 days of starring is over, bizcom's merchant appreciation night gonna be over in a week (12 August), UR is over (for my part, at least..haha) , vivace 2011 on 19 August and I'm involved as gourmetclubmktgsubcomm, the OCSP infosessions and interviews and meetings.. so yes.... bz bz bz weeks coming up!

Just nice though, my chubi CLG will be bz far far far away in malaysia, chubernard will be away in australia..... ok basically everyone will be busy with their own lives because sadly, SUmMER HOLIDAYS IS OVER :(

Which also explains why I feel so bloody popular this coming week with this weekend burned (out out out out out shopping), monday sentosa with my starring'10 people from morning till evening then rush from harbourfront to pasir ris to meet my bondue'10 people for dinner (and i have a feeling maybe supper with the usuals..since the following day = national day) . obviously, national day will be spent doing something somewhere, and on the 10th i'm prolly meeting amanda &co? , or 11th. I forgot. Slotting in time for lunching with old buddies, packing up the mess in my room, saving my computer before school starts.. (i've used up about 200++GB of space in a span of 1 year since I bought this lappie), designing various emailers for different events...... 12th August M.A.N. networking and stuff, 13th August 4B'07 BBQ.... so on so forth.

And I miss my TK people! Really, the 4 years in TK still win hands down for the most carefree happy days of my life! So much memories, the bad have morphed into funny ridiculous fond memories and the good just got sweeter & better.

Really glad that I blogged pretty regularly in the past (albeit having the posts a little embarrassing to read now bcos of the horrid language).

Somehow it seems like whatever I used to think was interesting to blog about, just seem so childish and... well, insignificant. But nonetheless, I've learnt quite a fair bit from my archives.

Annoyed at myself for letting so many things&people slip by just like this.

And this blog which used to be a place of happy chatting ... little nonsense here and there... has degenerated into my rants and complaints and, basically stupid shit. I know, irony, here I am saying my blog posts are stupid but yet I cant help blogging in this way now!
